You can register any items (e.g. smartphones, tablets, notebooks, headphones, handbags, wallets, keychains etc.). We recommend you to register items that have a suitable area for attaching the QR code sticker. Please consider that the dimensions of the QR code sticker.

1) Please register or login at LOSFONDOS and go to “My Account”
2) Choose “My Items” from menu.
3) Under “My Items”, click on “Add New Item” to record your item. You can register up to 3 items for free.
4) Enter the SERIAL or the IMEI number of your device. (Click here for help to find the SERIAL or IMEI number of
your device.)
5) Choose Option for the item.
a. I am the owner and want to register this item (not lost)
b. I am the finder and want to register this item
c. I am the owner and want to register this item (lost)
6) Upload image of your item
7) Describe your mobile item. (e.g. iPhone 16 Pro with safety glass and black leather case)
8) Click Save button to finalize the device registration.

If you lose an item in a visible place, it is easier for someone to find it. People walking by, employees, or cleaning staff can quickly see the item and pick it up. After finding it, the person may decide to report it or hand it in. This can take some time and depends on the honesty and actions of the finder. For this reason, it is important to be patient, as the process relies on someone noticing the item and choosing to report it.

To activate your purchaised QR-Code Stickers, please follow the instructions:

1. Log in your LOSFONDOS account.

2. Make sure, you have already registered the item you want to link with the QR-Code sticker.

3. Scan the LOSFONDOS QR-Code on the sticker.

4. You will be directed to your Item Dashboard.

5. Select the item from your item list and click on it to create a link between the scanned QR-Code Sticker and elected item.

6. If the connection process was successfull you will see on the item picture (on the right upper corner) a link icon (chain icon).

7. In addition you can see the beginning and the end of the connection which is limited for one year after the start of the link. 8. If you want to continue the validity of the link, you can extend the connection duration if you click on the "Extend valid" button.

No. Unlike official Lost & Found offices that store physical items, LOSFONDOS does not hold or manage any lost belongings. We serve purely as a digital intermediary between the finder and the rightful owner of the misplaced item.

- Description: Provide details of your item (e.g., “iPhone 17 Pro in orange color with tempered glass screen protector etc.”). This is only visible for you.
- Item Image: Upload a photo of the item (front/back if relevant). This is only visible for you.

6. If you want to add a free “Digital QR-Code” for displayable items e.g. smartphones, activate the toggle.
- Toggle ON for smartphones, tablets, or laptops.
- This adds a free digital QR code to your lock screen.

7. Upload your personalized wallpaper (max. 5MB and min. 400x400 pixels) and position the digital QR Code based from the available nine positions from the drop down menu (e.g. Top-Center, Top-Left, Bottom-Right)
- Upload your own lock screen wallpaper (or use a default one).
- Select a position from the dropdown (e.g., Top-Center, Bottom-Right) so the QR code appears neatly without blocking important elements.

8. Click on Save Button
- Your item is now registered!
- If digital QR is activated, download or view the prepared wallpaper with QR code in your account.

When a finder scans your active QR-code, they can contact you immediately via an anonymized messaging system. You will receive an email notification and message on for the respective Item in your “My Items” overview, all without disclosing your private contact details to the finder.

There are three different ways to report an lost item:
1. Enter the SERIAL or IMEI number of the lost item in search field.
2. Scan the digital QR code at the lock screen of the lost item and click on the appeared link.
3. Scan the QR code sticker at the cover of the item and click on the appeared link.
